Billing questions ## The fine print, in plain words Is there really a free plan? Yes, the full studio to try free: 250+ free credits to spend on Ad Spy research and image or video ads (30 at signup, the rest earned as you set up your brand and explore), no card required. Engaged creators can earn thousands more through creation milestones. Paid plans add a bigger monthly credit pool, better per-credit rates and real faces in your videos from your own photos. It's the best way to see whether Hermoso fits before you pay. Can I cancel or change plans anytime? Anytime, from your account. Upgrades take effect immediately. A downgrade or cancel simply stops the renewal. You keep your plan and remaining credits until the end of the period you've already paid for, then move down. No refunds or proration, no lock-in, no cancellation calls. What actually costs credits? Credits are spent only on two things: running an AI model (image, video, voice, text, planning, post-production) and Ad Spy research. In the Studio chat that includes the chat itself: every reply from the agent runs a model and bills its own cost, and planning or revising a design runs a planning model that bills on top of the reply, before anything renders. Everything else is free on every plan: publishing and scheduling posts, building and managing paid campaigns, analytics and insights, comments and DMs, connectors, profiles and team seats. Posting an ad you already rendered is never a second charge. The one exception: posting to X (Twitter) and reading X data bill a few credits per call because the X API charges per request; managing X ads is free like every other ad platform. What happens if I run out of credits? Nothing breaks. You just top up with a credit pack (valid 365 days from purchase), or on a plan your credits refresh each month.
