An MCP server is how an AI agent such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor gets real tools instead of just a browser. For marketing, five jobs matter: publishing a post now, scheduling one for later, managing paid ads, generating the creative, and reading the results. Most servers do two or three of them. This page shows which does what.
We make one of the servers in the table, Hermoso, so read this with that in mind. We have tried to be fair: every cell about another product comes from that vendor's own documentation, linked in the first column, read on 19 October 2026. Where a vendor does not document something, the cell says so rather than guessing. If we got something wrong, write to hello@hermoso.ai and we will fix it.

Read on 19 October 2026 from each vendor's own MCP documentation, pricing page or repository. "Not documented" means we could not find it in their docs, not that it does not exist. TikTok's developer reference renders in the browser only, so its row comes from TikTok's help centre article.
How to read it
- Posting tools. Post Bridge, Buffer, Postiz, Ayrshare and Blotato are built around publishing and scheduling. Buffer and Hermoso are the two with the MCP on a free plan.
- Ads tools. The first-party servers from Meta and TikTok can create and change campaigns on their own platform. Google's is read-only in its current release. Zernio and Hermoso manage campaigns across several ad networks from one server.
- Creative. Blotato and Postiz generate images and video for posts. Hermoso generates finished ads with your real product in them, across 100+ models, and is the one server in this table that also creates paid campaigns on several networks.
Picking one
- You already have the content and want it posted: a posting server is enough. Buffer's is free, Post Bridge and Postiz are paid and focused.
- You run ads on one platform and want an agent to manage them: start with that platform's own server, such as the Meta Ads MCP.
- You run ads on several platforms: Zernio or Hermoso. See Hermoso vs Zernio.

It depends on the job. For posting content you already have, Buffer (free on every plan), Post Bridge and Postiz are focused choices. For managing ads on one platform, use that platform’s own server where it exists. Is there an official Meta Ads MCP server?
Yes. Meta hosts one at mcp.facebook.com/ads that can create and manage campaigns, ad sets and ads (created paused) and read insights, for Meta ads only (Meta developer docs, read 19 October 2026).
Can the Google Ads MCP server change campaigns?
Not in its current release. Google's open-source google-ads-mcp server describes itself as read-only and exposes search and account tools (GitHub, read 19 October 2026). Hermoso can create and manage Google Ads campaigns over MCP.
Which marketing MCP servers are free?
