Can AI write and send Mailchimp campaigns?

Will it email my audience without asking?
No. Templates and campaigns are created as drafts. Sending needs your explicit yes to the exact number of recipients Mailchimp reports, and a test only ever goes to up to five addresses you name.
Does the Mailchimp connection cost credits?
No. Templates, campaigns, sending, reports and lead syncs cost no credits. Credits are spent only when an AI model makes something, such as the image or video in the email. Mailchimp’s own plan applies to the emails you send.
Are lead form leads subscribed to marketing?
Not by default. A lead form is not consent Hermoso can vouch for, so leads are added without a marketing subscription unless you confirm the form asked for consent. An existing contact’s status is never changed.
Do I need a separate Mailchimp connection for the app and for MCP?
No. One authorisation covers the web app, the MCP server and the CLI. It is the same stored connection.
