What the viewer pulls
Type a username such as @duolingo, or paste a link to the profile or to one of its posts, and search. The Hermoso Studio reads the account's recent posts on X and shows each one as a card with its text, its image if it has one, and four numbers: views, likes, replies and reposts. Open goes to the post on x.com.
Reposts show up as well, marked RT, because what a brand chooses to repost says as much about its voice as what it writes itself.
Ways marketers use it
- Learning a brand voice. The brands known for being funny on X post in a very particular register. Reading their last ten posts in a row is the quickest way to hear it.
- Spotting what earns a reply. Replies are the hardest number to get on X. Find the posts with more replies than usual and look at how they end: a question, a hot take, a joke that invites a comeback.
- Checking a launch. When a competitor announces something, look up their account the same day and see how many views the announcement got next to their ordinary posts.
How to read the numbers
Views are how many times X showed the post. Likes divided by views is a fair test of whether people who saw it cared. A post with modest views and a high like rate is often a better idea to borrow than a post that went far on one big repost.
Reposts tell you something different from likes: people repost what makes them look good to their own followers. A post with many reposts and few replies is usually a line people wanted to pass on, not one they wanted to argue with.
Limits to know
The viewer reads what X shows publicly right now. Protected accounts cannot be viewed, deleted posts are gone, and the lookup covers recent posts rather than the account's whole history. It does not show follower growth over time.
When a post sparks an idea, ask the Studio in the same chat to write a post or an ad for your brand from it. To post on X from Hermoso, see Hermoso for X and the X scheduler.
Frequently asked questions
Is the X profile viewer free?
Yes. Type a username and search for free. You see the account's recent posts with views, likes, replies and reposts.
Do I need an X account?
No. You type the username here and the Studio reads the public profile for you.
Does it work for Twitter usernames?
Yes. X and Twitter are the same platform, so any Twitter handle works. Links to twitter.com or x.com work too.
Can I view a protected account?
No. Protected accounts only show posts to approved followers, so they cannot be viewed here.
Why are some posts marked RT?
Those are reposts: posts from other accounts that this account shared to its followers.
What do I do with what I find?
Ask follow-up questions in the same chat, or ask the Studio to write a post or an ad for your brand based on the posts that did best.
