What this search shows

Type a word and Hermoso finds organic Instagram Reels and posts about it, then ranks them by reach so the ones that travelled furthest come first. Each card shows the cover image, the caption, the account that posted it, the view count and the like count, with a link to open the original on Instagram. Because everything sits in one ranked grid, you can compare a few dozen posts at a glance instead of tapping through them one by one.

Ways marketers use it

  • Reels concepts for a launch. Search the product type, like "home espresso", and note the setups that recur in the top Reels: the counter shot, the pour, the morning routine. Those are scenes your audience already chooses to watch.
  • Brand perception. Search a competitor's name and see which posts about it travelled furthest, and whether they came from the brand itself or from customers and creators.
  • Cover and caption patterns. On Instagram the cover frame and the first line of the caption decide whether someone taps. Compare the covers on the top results and you will see what earns attention in your category.
  • Picking concepts for paid. A Reel that reached a large audience without ads is a strong candidate idea for a paid Instagram ad, because real viewers have already tested it.

How to read the results

Read views and likes together. A Reel with many views and comparatively few likes was shown to a lot of people; one with a high share of likes is one people actually enjoyed. The second kind usually makes the better starting point for an ad.

Pay attention to the account behind each card. A big brand account with a big number tells you less than a small account with a big number. When a small account breaks out, the idea itself did the work, and an idea that works without an audience behind it is the kind that transfers to your brand. Compare the captions on those breakout posts as well. Short captions that add a detail the video leaves out tend to sit next to the posts people save and share.

Keep the strong ones in a swipe file, or Clone a Reel into a version made for your product. If you plan to run the result as a paid placement, our Instagram ad maker covers the formats and sizes Instagram uses.

Honest limits

Results are organic posts, not ads, so there is no spend or conversion data, and paid partnership posts are not split out. Some accounts hide like counts, so likes will be missing on their posts. Comments, saves and shares are not included. Instagram decides which posts match a word, so a broad term like "skincare" returns a different mix than a narrow one like "skincare routine for oily skin". Try two or three phrasings before you draw a conclusion about a topic.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Instagram Reels search free?

Yes. Search any brand, product or keyword for free and see the Reels and posts about it ranked by reach.

Does it include photo posts or only Reels?

Both. Reels and regular posts come back in the same ranked list, each with its caption, account and counts.

How are results ranked?

By reach, so the Reels and posts that were seen by the most people come first.

Why are likes missing on some posts?

Instagram lets accounts hide their like counts. When an account does, the number is not available to show.

Are these Instagram ads?

No, they are organic posts. A brand's paid Instagram ads are listed with its other Meta ads, which the Meta Ad Library search covers.

Can I remake a Reel for my own brand?

Yes. Save it to your swipe file, or Clone it to rebuild the Reel with your product, colours and voice.

Hermoso turns what you find into finished ads and posts for your own brand, then runs your marketing on autopilot. Start free, 250+ earnable free credits, no card.
