What this search shows
This is organic TikTok: the videos people, creators and brands post, not paid ads. Type a word and Hermoso runs a TikTok keyword search for it, then ranks the videos that come back by plays. Each card has the cover, the caption, the creator's handle, the play count and the like count. Videos play in place, so you can watch a dozen in a row without the app, and every card links to the original post on TikTok.
Ways marketers use it
- Hook research for a product. Search the thing you sell, like "standing desk" or "matcha", and watch the first two seconds of the top ten. Those openers have already proved they stop a scroll on that topic.
- Hearing how people talk about a brand. Search a competitor's name. The top videos are often customers, reviewers and fans rather than the brand, and they show which claims real people repeat on their own.
- References for a creator brief. Before you hire a creator, collect three videos in the format you want, such as a routine, an unboxing or a before and after, and send them as the reference.
- Testing whether a format fits. If the most played videos in your category share one format, that is the format the audience expects from the category right now.
How to read the results
Plays count every view since a video went up, so an older video has had longer to collect them. Compare plays with likes: a video with many likes for its plays landed with the people who saw it, while a huge play count with few likes may have been shown widely and watched passively. The second kind spread, the first kind persuaded, and for an ad you usually want the first.
Read the caption as well. TikTok captions often repeat the hook or name the product, which helps you see why a video matched your search and what promise it made. Then watch the whole video, not only the opening, and note where the product appears and how the video ends. Many strong TikToks show the product working within the first few seconds and save the name for later; others lead with a question the viewer wants answered. Write down which pattern each top video follows.
Found one worth remaking? Save it to a swipe file, or Clone the video into an ad for your own product. Our video clone page walks through how a remake keeps the structure and swaps in your brand.
Honest limits
These are organic posts, so there is no spend or conversion data, and a paid creator partnership looks the same as any other video. Results reflect what TikTok returns for that word when you search, which can change from one day to the next. Comments, shares and watch time are not part of the results. Playback links from TikTok expire after a while, so if a clip stops playing, run the search again or open the original post.
Frequently asked questions
Is the TikTok video search free?
Yes. Search any brand, product or keyword for free and watch the top videos right in the results.
Do I need the TikTok app?
No. Videos play in place on the results page, and each one links to the original post if you want to see it on TikTok.
Are these TikTok ads?
No. They are organic videos about your keyword. Paid partnerships are not labelled separately, so treat every result as a post rather than an ad with known spend.
How are the videos ranked?
By plays, so the videos that reached the most viewers come first. Each card also shows likes so you can judge how well a video landed.
Why did a video stop playing?
Playback links from TikTok expire after some time. Search again for a fresh link, or open the original post from the card.
Can I turn a TikTok I find into my own ad?
Yes. Save it to your swipe file, or Clone it to remake the video for your brand and product.
Hermoso turns what you find into finished ads and posts for your own brand, then runs your marketing on autopilot. Start free, 250+ earnable free credits, no card.
