Put an AI actor in your ad
Paste your product page and say who should be on camera. The actor talks about your real product, in 9:16.
Opens in the Hermoso app with this filled in. Nothing runs until you press Generate, and the app shows the exact price first. Rather ask your AI? Add Hermoso to Claude or ChatGPT and say what you want.
AI actors we made
AI actors are synthetic people who perform your script on camera. In Hermoso you describe who you want (age, look, where they are, how they talk), and Hermoso casts that person, films them saying your lines with your real product in hand, and gives you a finished video ad. Like the actor? Save them to your cast and put the same face in your next ad, and the one after that.
Most AI actor tools hand you a library of stock faces to scroll through. That works until you notice your competitors picked the same three people. Hermoso casts to a brief instead, so the actor fits your customer, and then keeps that actor consistent from ad to ad, which is what turns a stranger into a recognisable face for your brand.
How it works
- Describe the actor. “A woman in her 30s, no makeup, in a sunny kitchen, talks like she is telling a friend.” Or skip it and Hermoso casts someone who fits your product and your audience.
- Give it the script, or let Hermoso write it. Paste your lines, or let it write a hook and a script from your product page and the ads already working in your market.
- Get the video. The actor says the lines on camera, with the voice and the mouth made in the same take so they stay in sync, holding your real product, not a lookalike. Vertical, square or wide.
- Save them to your cast. The actor gets a name in your workspace. Next time, ask for “the same actor, new script” and you get the same person.
What you can do with an AI actor
| Job | What you get |
|---|---|
| UGC testimonial | A customer-style video: phone framing, natural light, a real-sounding review of your product. |
| Talking presenter | A clean read to camera for an explainer, an offer or a launch, from a script or a photo. |
| Hook tests | The same actor opening with five different first lines, so you test the hook and nothing else. |
| Other markets | The finished video dubbed into another language, or a new take written in that language. |
| A recurring face | One saved actor across a whole campaign, so viewers start to recognise them. |
Three ways to cast
- Describe someone new. Hermoso generates a person who does not exist, cast to your brief. This is the default and the fastest way to start.
- Use your own face. Upload a photo of yourself and confirm it is you, and you become the actor, which suits founders who front their own brand.
- Work with real creators. When you want a real person with a real audience, Creator Search finds creators by niche and size so you can reach out to them.
What Hermoso will not do is put a real person’s face in an ad without their consent. Actors are either generated, or you, confirmed.
Why AI actors look real here
The giveaways of an AI ad are glossy skin, a voice that does not match the mouth, and a product with a made-up label. Hermoso steers every render toward the look of a phone video (matte skin, everyday light, a slightly imperfect frame), makes the speech in the same pass as the picture, and builds every shot from your real product photo. Text such as captions, your logo or an end card is added by the app afterwards, only when you ask for it, so it is sharp instead of painted by the model. More on that in why AI ads look fake.
From your AI assistant
Hermoso also runs inside Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Ask “cast a 40-something dad who coaches soccer, have him review our water bottle in 15 seconds, and save him as Coach Mike”, and the agent casts, films and saves the actor, then can post the ad or put it in a paused campaign. See MCP & CLI.

Frequently asked questions
What are AI actors?
Synthetic people who perform a script on camera in a video ad. In Hermoso you describe the person, and Hermoso casts them and films them saying your lines with your real product.
Can I use the same AI actor in every ad?
Yes. Save the actor to your cast and ask for the same person in your next ad. The face stays the same from ad to ad.
Is there a library of actors to pick from?
Hermoso casts to a description instead of a fixed library, so the actor fits your customer. Once you have one you like, it lives in your own cast.
Can I be the actor?
Yes. Upload a photo of yourself and confirm it is you, and the ads can star you. Hermoso does not put a real person in an ad without their consent.
Do AI actors speak other languages?
Yes. A finished video can be dubbed into another language, or the actor can deliver a new script written in that language.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, with no card. The app shows the exact price of a video before it runs.
