Your best video, with three new opening seconds

Keep the video that works and test the only part that decides whether anyone sees it. Hermoso renders new opening shots onto the same ad, with the original soundtrack running underneath.

Most of a video ad is never watched. The first two seconds decide that, which makes the hook the highest-leverage thing in the whole file and the most annoying thing to test, because testing it used to mean making the video again.

Now you keep the video. Point Hermoso at a finished ad and ask for new openings. You get complete versions back: a new opening shot, then your original ad from the first cut onward, untouched.

The soundtrack is the point

The new opening is spliced onto the picture only, so your original audio keeps running: the same voice, the same music, the same timing. There is no seam to hear, no second voice to notice, and every version comes back the exact length and resolution of the one you started from.

Each version opens a different way

The openings are not the same shot with a different filter. Each variant takes a different named mechanic from the hook playbook: open mid problem, a before and after snap, a point of view shot, hands doing the thing. Different reasons to stop scrolling, so the test tells you something.

It cuts where your ad already cuts

Hermoso finds your ad's own first cut and replaces up to that point, so the new opening lands on a real edit instead of interrupting a shot halfway through. If your ad has no early cut, it says so and uses a sensible window instead.

What it costs, before it runs

You see the quote before anything renders, and you can pick the render resolution, which is the main thing that moves the number. A version that fails is not charged and nothing is re-rendered on its own.

Try it

Ask for it in the Studio on your latest video, or from your agent with the video URL, in your own words: give me three new hooks for this, keep the rest.

Questions people ask

What exactly changes in each version?

The opening shot, up to your ad's first cut. Everything after that is your original video, and the audio track is the original from start to finish.

Will the new opening have someone talking?

No. Your original soundtrack keeps playing underneath, so the opening is a visual hook rather than a new spoken line. That is deliberate: two voices over each other is worse than a clean hook.

How many versions can I get?

Up to five, each on a different hook mechanic so you are testing genuinely different openings.

Does the video change length?

No. Each version comes back at the same length, frame size and resolution as the original.

How long can the source video be?

Up to two minutes. Longer clips are refused before anything is charged, and you can trim first.
