GPT Image 2.6, OpenAI's newest image model and the one in ChatGPT Images 2.6, is now in Hermoso and is the default for static image ads. It is the sharpest GPT Image yet on text and fine detail, makes 10 aspect ratios and takes up to 16 reference images.
GPT Image 2.6 Flare is the fast version: about 11 seconds an image in our test, against about 50 for GPT Image 2.6. Draft on Flare, finish on 2.6. Both cost the same as the GPT Image 2.5 models they replace, and both work in the web app, through the API, and from ChatGPT, Claude or any agent connected over MCP.
