    How to merge PDF files

    1. Choose two or more PDF files, or drop them on the box.
    2. Put them in the order you want with Up and Down. Remove any you added by mistake.
    3. Press Merge the PDFs, then Download PDF. The file is called merged.pdf.

    Your files stay on your computer

    The merge happens inside this page. Your PDFs are read by your browser, joined, and handed back to you as a download. Nothing is sent to a server, so contracts, invoices and ID scans stay with you, and there is no upload to wait for.

    What it does and does not do

    • It keeps every page of every file, in order, with each page's text, pictures and layout as they were.
    • It takes up to 60 files and 300 MB in total at a time.
    • It cannot open a PDF that is password protected or damaged. It tells you which file is the problem.
    • It does not compress or edit pages. To pick pages out of a file first, use your PDF viewer's print to PDF, then merge.

    • Combining receipts into one file for an expense claim.
    • Putting a signed page back into the contract it came from.

    How do I merge PDF files for free?

    Are my PDFs uploaded?

    No. The merge happens on your device inside the page. Nothing is sent to a server.

    Is there a limit on the number or size of files?

    Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

    No. The page tells you which file it could not open. Remove the password in your PDF viewer first.

    Will the merged PDF keep the quality?

    Yes. Pages are copied across as they are, with their text, pictures and layout unchanged.
