Removing a background by hand means tracing every edge. Hermoso does it with an AI cut-out model: upload a product shot, a portrait or a photo of your dog, and you get the subject alone on a transparent background a few seconds later. Hair, glass and soft edges are kept as cleanly as the photo allows.

How do I remove the background from an image?

  1. Upload your picture. A file from your phone or computer, or a link to the image. JPG, PNG and WebP work.
  2. Press Remove background. The app shows the price for that picture first.
  3. Download the PNG. The cut-out keeps its full detail on a transparent background. It also lands in your Library, so you can use it in an ad later.

What can I remove the background from?

Anything with a clear subject: products, people, pets, food, cars, logos on a busy photo. One clear subject on a background that contrasts with it gives the cleanest edge. A photo of a person works on every plan here, because the cut-out does not draw anybody new.

What do I get back?

A PNG with a transparent background, made at up to 2048 pixels on the long side. It drops straight into Canva, Figma, a Shopify product page or a slide. If you want a white or coloured background instead, put the PNG on it, or use AI product photos to place the product in a whole new scene.

Can I remove the background from a video too?
