Intercom now connects with Sign in with Intercom, and the inbox tools are on the MCP server and the CLI as well as in the web studio. Your agent can list and search conversations, open one with its whole thread, add an internal note, close, snooze, assign or tag it, and look up the contact behind it.
Nothing reaches a customer until you approve it: a reply is shown to you first, then sent from Intercom as the teammate you pick. The Intercom tools cost no credits.
