Connect Hermoso to Devin

Devin ships the feature, then markets it: launch ads, scheduled posts and a campaign built around them.

Devin supports custom MCP servers over HTTP (Streamable HTTP) with OAuth, and only asks for your own client ID and secret when a server has no dynamic client registration. Hermoso has it, so those fields stay empty.

Before you start

  • Adding a custom MCP needs the Manage MCP Servers permission, so this is usually an organization admin. If you don't see the button, ask your admin or use Suggest MCP Integration.
  • A Hermoso account. The free plan is enough to try it (see pricing). No account yet? Create one in the app first.

The steps

In the Devin web app

  1. Go to Customize, then MCPs.
  2. Open Add MCP and choose Add custom MCP.
  3. Fill in the details. Server Name: Hermoso. Short Description: marketing tools (research, ads, publishing, campaigns). The icon is optional.
  4. Select the transport type HTTP.
  5. Server URL: https://app.hermoso.ai/mcp. Authentication method: OAuth. Leave the OAuth credentials empty.
  6. Set Access. Personal has each member sign in with their own Hermoso account. Organization shares one connection, and Devin suggests a service account for that rather than a personal one.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Back in Customize, MCPs, choose Connect on Hermoso. Devin gives you a URL to visit to connect your account.
  9. Click Test listing tools to confirm Devin can see them.

In the Devin CLI

  1. Add the server. A URL means HTTP, so there is nothing else to pass:
    devin mcp add hermoso https://app.hermoso.ai/mcp
  2. Sign in:
    devin mcp login hermoso
  3. Run devin mcp list to check it is there. Add -s user to the first command to have it in every project, or -s project to share it with your team through version control.

What you will be asked to approve

Your browser opens Hermoso's own page. It asks whether to let Devin use your Hermoso account, under whatever name Devin registers itself with. Sign in if you aren't already, then select Allow. That is the only thing you approve. It lets Devin research ads, plan creative and generate images and video on your account, the same things you can do in the app. There is no key to copy, and you can take it back any time in Hermoso under Settings, Agents & API.

Connecting Hermoso does not connect your ad accounts or social channels. You add those inside Hermoso, under Settings, Connectors, and only the ones you want. Ads are created paused, and nothing is posted or spent unless you ask for it.
