Connect Hermoso to Zapier

Make marketing a step in any Zap: a new product, a new review or a new row can end in a finished ad or a scheduled post.

MCP Client by Zapier connects to a remote MCP server by URL and can sign in with OAuth. Hermoso speaks Streamable HTTP and OAuth, so the bearer token field stays empty.

Before you start

  • Anyone with a Zapier account. MCP Client by Zapier is in beta, so Zapier may still change it.
  • A Hermoso account. The free plan is enough to try it (see pricing). No account yet? Create one in the app first.

The steps

  1. In Zapier, go to the Apps page.
  2. Click + Add connection.
  3. In the dialog, search for and select MCP Client, then click Add connection. A Connect an Account page opens in a new tab or window.
  4. Fill in the fields. Server URL: https://app.hermoso.ai/mcp. Transport: Streamable HTTP. OAuth: Yes. Leave Bearer Token empty (Zapier ignores it when OAuth is Yes).
  5. Click Yes, Continue to MCP Client. A new tab or window opens.
  6. Sign in to Hermoso and grant Zapier access when asked.
  7. Back in Zapier, rename the connection to Hermoso if its name does not say so. You will want that once you have more than one server.

In a Zap, Hermoso shows up under MCP Client as the action Run Tool and the search Run Read-Only Tool, plus the triggers New Tool and New Tool Result. If the connection does not appear in the Zap editor straight away, refresh the page.

What you will be asked to approve

Your browser opens Hermoso's own page. It asks whether to let Zapier use your Hermoso account, under whatever name Zapier registers itself with. Sign in if you aren't already, then select Allow. That is the only thing you approve. It lets Zapier research ads, plan creative and generate images and video on your account, the same things you can do in the app. There is no key to copy, and you can take it back any time in Hermoso under Settings, Agents & API.

Connecting Hermoso does not connect your ad accounts or social channels. You add those inside Hermoso, under Settings, Connectors, and only the ones you want. Ads are created paused, and nothing is posted or spent unless you ask for it.

Trigger: a new product in your store. Action 1: MCP Client, Run Tool, generate_image, with a prompt built from the product name and photo. Action 2: MCP Client, Run Tool, schedule_post, with the image from step 1 and a caption, set for tomorrow morning.
