X has two features that make an account feel grown up: Articles, for long-form writing that lives on your profile, and editing, for the typo you spot four seconds after posting. Both are part of X Premium, and both now work from Hermoso.

X Articles, straight from markdown

X does not take markdown or HTML for an Article. It takes its own structured format, and getting a heading, a list or a link to land in the right spot is fiddly. post_x_article does the converting. Give it a title and a body in markdown or plain prose and it carries across:

• headings and paragraphs
• bulleted and numbered lists
• blockquotes and dividers
• bold, italic and strikethrough
• links, code blocks and tables

If something cannot be shown in an X Article, like an image in the middle of a sentence, Hermoso tells you exactly what and why before posting, instead of quietly dropping it. Once you know, you can choose to post anyway.

Editing posts

edit_x_post changes the text of one of your own posts. Three things about how X edits work, so nothing catches you off guard:

• You send the whole new text. X replaces the post rather than patching part of it.
• An edit gets a new link. Hermoso hands you the new URL so you share the corrected version.
• You have one hour from the original post, and editing does not restart the clock. Each post can only be edited a few times.

Pass whichever post id you have, even an older one, and Hermoso finds the newest version to edit.

Articles people finish reading

• A title that promises one thing. "How we cut our ad costs in half" beats "Some thoughts on marketing".
• A heading every few paragraphs, so readers can skim to the part they came for.
• A table when you compare things. Tables carry across from markdown, so use them.
• A short list at the end with the takeaways, and a link to where to learn more.

A friendly heads-up on limits

X allows each account 10 Article drafts and 5 published Articles per day, and a failed attempt counts toward that. Hermoso checks everything it can before sending, like a missing title, so a slip does not use up one of your five. If you do reach a limit, the message tells you which one and when it lifts.
